Fee Policy for Halal Certification Services

1. Introduction

This policy outlines the fee structure for Halal certification services offered by HACI. The fees are determined based on the number of production sites, the variety of products, and the total audit man-days required.

2. Fee Calculation Structure

• Fee per Production Site
• Fee per Product
• Administration Fee
• Communication Fee
• Document Screening Fee
• Shariah Review Fee
• Stage 1 Audit Fee
• Stage 2 Audit Fee
• Extra Hour Charges

Note: Exact fee will be calculated after submitting the application for Halal Certification

3. Application Fee

No application fee is charged by HACI.

4. Annual Fee

• A fixed annual fee is charged for the first year and increases by 10% annually.
• The annual fee is valid from the date of certificate issuance.
• 50% advance payment is required at the time of agreement signing (non-refundable), regardless of certification guarantee.
• Remaining 50% is payable after the issuance of the Halal Certificate.

5. Auditor Travel & Accommodation Charges

• Travel (conveyance) is either arranged by the client or reimbursed as per actual expenses.
• Current standard: PKR 15/km per auditor (round trip).
• Accommodation and meals will be provided by the client or reimbursed on actuals.
• If air travel or long-distance arrangements are required, costs will be invoiced separately.
