KPK Food Safety & Halal Food Authority (KP-FS&HFA)
Halal Assessment & Certification Institution Pvt.Ltd (HACI) successfully carrying a project in collaboration with KpK Food Safety & Halal Food Authority (KPFSHA) in the field of training. Food Safety level-1 training program is a basic level of training for food handlers. This training program will increase the knowledge of food handlers & improve the food safety level-1 situation in KPK. HACI trained thousands of employees from Hospitality sector i.e. Hotels, Restaurants, Bakeries in 7 Districts of KPK including Food Industries at Hattar till date. The training program contributes in the social wellbeing by reducing food borne illnesses.
US-AID Small & Medium Enterprises/ Chemonics International Inc.
Project Duration: 1 year
Halal Assessment & Certification in collaboration with Chemonics International Inc. implemented the project ‘’ USAID small & medium Enterprise activity’’ as a part of business development services support of SME’s from SMEA approved sectors in KPK. This program was a one day intensive training for food handlers working in industry, SME sector, cottage industry and individual food handlers at various levels. This training will help the participants to understand basic concept of food and its impact on their customers & how they will increase their customer satisfaction by following & implementing different procedures. There are three trainings carried out in three different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (i.e. Kohat, Bannu, D. I. Khan) for the participants from hospitality sector i.e. Hotels, Bakeries &Restaurants.
World Food Program (WFP)
Halal Assessment & Certification is working on a project with National fortification Alliance for Baluchistan Food Authority (BFA). The purpose of this project to provide technical support to conduct a detailed, thorough and comprehensive gap analysis of Baluchistan Food authority related to its structure, mechanism, and operations; adoption of WFP developed SNF standards as provincial standards for specialized nutritious foods, ensure the registration/licensing of WFP developed products with WFP in support of BFA in the set time period.
